Welcome to Hounds Grooming which is owned and run by myself, Anne Edgar.
My dog grooming business has been set up to cater for the concerned owner wanting a relaxed and personal experience for their dog.
Hounds Grooming is located in the heart of Derbyshire, and on the edge of The Peak District National Park which provides the background for a pleasurable experience.
You can be assured that your dog will be well looked after by an experienced, qualified and caring professional.
Beautifully groomed, pampered and relaxed, is how you will collect your dog, following a visit to my salon.
All breeds of dog are welcome, from small to extra large, as are all styles of coat and condition. Whether your dog needs clipping or hand stripping your best friend will benefit from Hounds Grooming’s specialist and relaxing aromatherapy and conditioning treatments.

Subject to being assessed I can offer you two types of grooming for your dog, Clip & Style or Hand Stripping, depending on the preference, type of coat and condition on arrival.
Clip & Style with Aromatherapy Bath & Groom
Ears cleaned and plucked
Eyes cleaned
Anal glands
A bath using aromatherapy shampoo
Table top drying while all dead hair and knots are removed.
Trimming and clipping of the coat to agreed requirements.
Claws clipped and filed
Conditioning treatment
Hand Stripping with Aromatherapy Bath & Groom
Removal of the old coat encourages growth of the healthy new coat lying beneath. Enhancing the natural colour, texture and overall vibrancy of your dogs coat.
The treatment includes:

Hand Stripping to agreed requirements

A bath using aromatherapy shampoo

Whichever treatment you choose for your dog you can be assured that they will have a stress free positive experience and be happy to come back time and time again.
In October 2016 we raised £1602.00 for the Alzheimer's Society
Facilities at HOUNDS GROOMING
Clients are offered ample off road parking so that the stress free experience starts as soon as you and your dog arrive at Hounds Grooming. If you’re relaxed your dog will be too.
On arrival your dog can stretch his legs before being welcomed into a purpose built fully equipped salon. As their personal groomer, I will provide them with 1 to 1 attention at all times, making the whole experience totally pleasurable.
Once grooming has been completed your dog relaxes in a secure run with a heated kennel awaiting your collection.
A range of hypoallergenic treats are stocked which may be purchased. These are used as a safe treat during and after grooming to further enhance the whole experience.
Our onsite facility provides you with the added opportunity of being able to purchase all those elusive essentials necessary to keep your dog well groomed and in top condition all year round.
